Summer Hockey Fans

I was just gonna let this one slide, but seeing 'him' again today. I just have to share.

I'm not sure if it was the same man, but how many people actually tuck in their hockey jerseys....OK start from the beginning.

I wouldn't call it a 'heat wave' but the past 3 days have been the hottest we have seen all summer. The mornings are cooler, I'll give 'him' that. So at about 8:30 AM, Thursday(July 26/07). I was on the bus, on my way to work. I saw this guy walking up the hill in a Vancouver Canucks jersey, not I am usually not bothered by and rather enjoy seeing hockey fans display their support for their team(except the Leaf fans of course, but that's a whole 'nother story, for another time). This particular guy thought had on their white home jersey and on potentially the hottest day of the summer, not to mention the fact that it was tucked in...needless to say I lost a bit of respect for Canucks fans(sorry). After a small chuckle to myself, I went on with my day....freezing with the air conditioner at work, and sweating in my little apartment once i got home from work. I never gave that guy much thought again, until this morning.

I started out the morning sweating in my apartment(I didn't have to work until noon). On the buss at about 11:30AM, we were headed up the hill again, and what shall I see....a Boston Bruins fan(they do exist). Big deal, right?...wrong! I'm pretty sure it was the same guy only this time sporting a white Bruins, home jersey. Why do I think it was the same guy, you ask. Aside from that fact that I saw him in the same place as the day before. This guy also had his jersey TUCKED IN! Who does that still?!?!(or ever...is it a new trend I missed the memo for?!?!) Any who I was sweating in the tank top I had one, I can only what 'Mr. Tucked-in-hockey-jersey' felt like and I don't think its was very pretty. Oh and I did lose more respect for Bruins fans(sad but true).

Well that's about all the hockey news I have...I'm not gonna go into the Staal thing and Comrie's new woman...I don't have all the facts so I don't want to comment on either.
