it's been far too long

ok so I have no idea what I last wrote about, I know it was hockey but I haven't gone back to read it. And I don't even know if any one reads this. I had a blog all set to post on Sept 10, so I can post that now:

So I am starting to go stir crazy here...Well not exactly, where to start. I moved out of my cozy apartment on August 29th from then until now, I have been Internet-less. OK that’s a lie I had a very slow dial-up connection for about 5 days, but felt guilty tying up the phone lines so I quickly checked a few sites. Then went back to lounging around (Hey! It’s the off season; don’t tell me you didn’t lounge around. I won’t believe it!). On September 4th my life changed (for the better!). I moved away from home, again, to a small town where I will be pursuing my ‘new life’. I’m back at college taking Journalism. Why did I go back? I decided a few months ago that life really is too short, and if I’m not happy now, why not take a big step to make it better, it’s now or never.
So it’s been close to 2 weeks since I have had, a “hockey overload” and as I sit here 30 minutes before my first class. I’m writing this. But why do I written when I should be reading. Honestly, I’m not sure where to start. Do I go to nhl.com? Do I check out the hlog? Or just hold off for another day when I have an hour or two to kill....I’ll need time to catch up, its summer and I have a few weeks to kill until the regular season starts. But will my studies be over whelming and I forget who I am, try to be someone else, with all these new friends. I didn’t know who I would meet. Never thought they’d have the same interests as me. But here I am, and I’ll do what I can. (I don’t know why that rhymed and came out like that). I’ll start with my email, there is some sort of news there.

Since Sept. 10, I have been following the local Junior A team, who up until last week, were playing awesome. It seems like they had to much turkey dinner for xmas or too many beers for new years. At any rate I am glad they are back, but they need to pull up their socks because the second have of the season has just started and they can't quit yet. I haven't stopped following the NHL and Sidney Crosby completely, but I have been busy with school work and keeping up with the local team. That's not a decent excuse, I know. But it's all I have for now. And I am gonna try to keep up with this blog. I need to, it's one of my only outlets to talk all hockey. Even my dad asked me if i talked about anything other than hockey...and to tell you the truth it was hard for me to come up with anything to say to that. So I guess if I don't make it as a journalist I better hope that I marry a hockey player, or someone who is just as much of a fan as I am.

Ther is plenty more I want to rant about, but I will save that for another time, hopefully sooner rather than later. peace.

I forgot to congratulate team Canada on their 4th(count 'em, four) gold medal at the WJC. Way to go guys!!
